Alesso and Anitta both signed to Shots this summer, a collaboration felt almost inevitable,Swedish producer and Brazilian pop star today (Oct. 13) made good on that creative potential by dropping upbeat single, “Is That For Me,” via Warner Music Latina. Boasting alluring verses, buoyant synth plucks and a feel-good drop punctuated by pitched vocal snippets, the polished release sounds ready for radio airplay.

The single was written by Poo Bear and follows Anitta’s first English-language song, “Will I See You,” as the the second release of her “Checkmate” campaign, which finds the singer releasing a new song every month in English, Spanish, or Portuguese.
